moral stories in english : The Lion and the Boar

Telugu Flash News

English Moral Stories : Once upon a time, in the heart of a dense and sprawling jungle, there lived a mighty and fearsome lion named Leo. Leo was known far and wide as the king of the jungle, and he ruled with a firm and just paw. His reputation was that of a wise and fair ruler.

One day, as Leo was strolling through the jungle, he came across a boar named Boris. Boris was a stout and muscular boar with sharp tusks. He was known for his immense strength, but he had a reputation for being reckless and thoughtless. The animals of the jungle often warned their young ones about the dangers of Boris, and they believed he was a menace to the peace of the jungle.

As Leo saw Boris for the first time, he, too, was taken aback by the boar’s formidable appearance. Leo had heard all the stories about Boris, and he assumed that this boar was indeed a threat to the jungle’s tranquility. Leo decided he needed to take action and protect his subjects.

Leo approached Boris and said in a stern voice, “I have heard of your reputation, Boris, and I cannot allow your recklessness to endanger the other creatures in this jungle. You must leave this jungle immediately, or I will have no choice but to banish you.”

Boris was shocked by the lion’s judgment, for he had not done anything wrong. He tried to explain himself, “Your Majesty, I may look fearsome, but I have never harmed anyone in this jungle. I’m just trying to survive and feed my family. I promise I will be more careful and considerate in the future.”

But Leo’s mind was made up, and he ordered Boris to leave the jungle without any further discussion.

As Boris wandered into the unknown, he felt a great sense of injustice. He had been judged solely based on his appearance and reputation, without any chance to prove himself. He vowed to make amends and become a better, more considerate boar.

Meanwhile, back in the jungle, the other animals began to notice that something was amiss. Without Boris to maintain the balance in the ecosystem, the jungle began to face problems with overgrown vegetation and unchecked insects.

Leo, too, began to realize the mistake he had made in hastily judging Boris. He understood that he had acted without considering the boar’s potential for change and the importance of his role in the jungle.

Regretfully, Leo set out to find Boris and bring him back to the jungle. After a long search, he finally located Boris, who had learned valuable lessons during his time away. Boris returned, and Leo welcomed him back, apologizing for his hasty judgment.

The jungle began to thrive once more with the combined efforts of Leo, Boris, and the other creatures, all living in harmony. Leo learned the importance of being cautious in his judgments and not letting appearances or reputation cloud his judgment.

The moral of the story is that we should be cautious in our judgments and not judge others based solely on their appearances or reputations. Sometimes, a second chance can lead to positive change and unexpected contributions to our lives and communities.
