Payal Rajput : Following the phenomenal success of “Kantara” across languages, the film’s prequel, titled “Kantara – A Legend: Chapter 1,” is currently in pre-production with Rishab Shetty returning as director.
Now, Payal Rajput, who garnered praise for her recent performance in “Mangalavaaram,” has expressed her keen interest in joining the cast of “Kantara 2.” She took to social media to express her desire, stating, “I have learned that auditions are underway for Kantara: Chapter 1. I am eager to be a part of this prestigious project. My recent film, Magalavaaram, has received significant praise for my performance. I would appreciate it if you could spare some time to watch the film. Please provide guidance on the audition process for this project.” As of now, there has been no response from the film’s team to her request.
“Kantara 2” is expected to begin filming soon under the banner of Hombale Films, with music composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
