TPCC President Revanth Reddy found himself in an awkward situation on Tuesday when his own party supporters, who were followers of former Minister Nagam Janardhan Reddy and aspiring ticket holders for the Nagarkurnool constituency, surrounded him, demanding a ticket for their leader.
Revanth Reddy had attended several meetings at Gandhi Bhavan on that day and was leaving one when Janardhan Reddy’s supporters attempted to block him, chanting slogans in favor of their candidate.
Nagam Janardhan Reddy had been seeking a ticket for the Nagarkurnool Assembly constituency, but the party leadership had different plans and had not given him any assurance yet.
This led to his supporters becoming agitated and protesting against the party leadership in front of TPCC President Revanth Reddy at Gandhi Bhavan.
