  5. Lifestyle Changes: Quitting smoking and moderating alcohol consumption can benefit bone health.
  6. Physical Therapy: For individuals who have suffered fractures, physical therapy may be necessary for recovery and to prevent further fractures.

Osteoporosis can be prevented or its progression slowed by adopting a bone-healthy lifestyle, including proper nutrition, regular exercise, and avoiding known risk factors.
