One of India’s most popular female stars, Tollywood actress Sai Pallavi, has strongly refuted baseless allegations regarding her marriage to filmmaker Rajkumar Periyasamy, which were circulating on social media and various news websites. The viral image showed the two of them wearing garlands and traditional attire, but it was misleading as it was taken during a puja ceremony for her latest movie.
The ‘Fida’ actress addressed these rumors in a tweet, saying, “Honestly, I don’t care for rumors but when it involves friends who are family, I have to speak up. Sai Pallavi expressed her frustration, stating, “An image from my film’s pooja ceremony was intentionally cropped and circulated with paid bots & disgusting intentions.” She went on to say, “When I have exciting work-related news to share, it’s disheartening to have to address these unfounded actions. Deliberately causing such discomfort is utterly reprehensible!”

Fans rallied behind the actress, encouraging her to ignore the negativity on social media and extending their best wishes for her upcoming film.
On the professional front, Sai Pallavi was last seen in the 2022 Tamil movie “Gargi” and has recently signed on for a film directed by Chandoo Mondeti, where she will star opposite Naga Chaitanya.
