Famous music composer MM Keeravani was chosen to compose music for the Telangana state anthem, “Jaya Jayahe Telangana”. The lyrics were written by poet Andesri.
This is to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Telangana becoming a state on June 2nd.
Keeravani finished the music and gave it to the Chief Minister.
The plan is to have Sonia Gandhi, a national political leader, officially release the song on the anniversary.
The 90-second anthem will talk about the sacrifices made to create the state, Telangana’s rich culture, and other important things. It’s a tribute to the people of Telangana.
