A celebratory firing at a pre-wedding function in Lucknow resulted in the tragic death of a 24-year-old youth, Ayush Khare.
Khare, a resident of Papermill Colony and a dropout from Vidyant College, was invited to the function by his friend Gautam Sonkar, whose sister was to be married soon.
Amidst the festivities, a young man named Tushar, allegedly intoxicated, arrived at the venue and fired several shots into the air, using a country-made pistol. One of these bullets tragically struck Khare in the ribs, leading to his death.
His friends rushed him to the SPM Civil Hospital, but despite their efforts, Khare succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities have identified the suspect as Tushar Vikram, known to be a history-sheeter. He fled the scene immediately after the incident.
The ADCP of the Central Zone, Manisha Singh, confirmed the incident and stated that police are actively searching for Tushar Vikram.
