Chatbots powered by artificial intelligence (AI) are making their way into all sectors and devices, fueled by the success of OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Renowned technology companies around the world have already made AI technology available, and many have incorporated AI features into their newly released smartphones. Global tech giant Apple is also following suit.
Apple is working on incorporating AI-powered features into its upcoming iOS 18. To that end, it is reportedly in talks to sign a deal with ChatGPT’s parent company, OpenAI. According to a report by Bloomberg, a prominent news agency, the two companies have finalized an agreement to this effect.
Apple is also expected to introduce generative AI features in its iPhone 16 series phones, which are due to be launched later this year. Currently, AI-powered tools and apps are included in the Google Pixel 8 and Samsung Galaxy S24 series phones that are available on the market. However, Apple, which has fallen behind in this regard, is expected to make up for that gap with the iOS 18 version.
