The Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Jay Shah, presented a golden ticket to Tamil movie icon Rajnikanth in anticipation of the upcoming ODI World Cup to be hosted by India. Prior to this, the BCCI had also conferred golden tickets to Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan.

These golden tickets serve as part of the BCCI’s promotional strategy for the prestigious event it is hosting, offering VIP treatment to the recipients during the World Cup matches.
